I’ve already watch three comedies along this week. The first one is Heartbreak Kid played by Ben Stiller ( Eddie Cantrow) who is seeking for his soulmate since he is forty and still single. Moreover he is watching ex-fiancée walk down the aisle. Then he meet Lila an enviromental researcher who seems too good to be true. Pressured by his father and best friend, Eddie pops the question and marries Lila after 6 weeks. However he finally discovers that his wife is immature, foolish, a monster in bed, owes money to others while she’s just a volunteer in  and actually doesn’t have a job. While on their honeymoon in Cabo, Eddie meets Miranda ( Michelle Monaghan )a down to earth lacrosse coach who is visiting with her familywho is visiting with her family. Eddie falls for her. He keeping the truth from Miranda about why he’s in Cabo in the first place. Generally it’s about a man who is convinced that he has finally met the right girl and marries her too quickly. While on his honeymoon  he disovered that his new bride is a nightmare and he meets the girl of his dreams.

The second one is License To Wed starred by Robin Williams ( Reverend Frank ), Mandy Moore ( Sadie Jones ) and  John Krasinski ( Ben Murphy ). Sadie and Ben are in love,  although Ben suggests getting married in the Carribean, Sadie has this dreaming since she was a litthe child that is marry in a family church, St. Augustine’s. Finally Ben agrees and they met Reverend Frank who are going to marry them. Rev Frank insist the couple should pass the pre course first. They should write their own vows, no sex before the wedding, he even bugs their apartment, has them care for two robot twins, and initiaites argument. All of those things raises doubt in Sadie’s mind that she decided to pull off the wedding a day before it happens in their rehearsal. It seems all things that Ben has done are meaningless, even when he try to find clues about Rev. Frank who actually widower didn’t work. But Rev. Frank just messing around with them, he wanted to see how huge the love is, and he finally found that Ben is really in love with Sadie that he pursue and fight for her and remain i Sadie’s heart. Finally they get married.

The third one is Game Plan starred by Dwayne Johnson (Joe Kingman), Madison Pettish (Peyton Kelly) and Roselyn Sanchez (Monique Velasquez). It’s about Top Boston Rebels football star, Quarterback Joe Kingman, who has an unknown 8 year old daughter from a former marriagef show up on his doorstep. show up on his doorstep. His daughter Madison Pettish transforms his life from a egotistical, promiscous bachelor to a loving father. Instead of decreasing his popularity, his daughter makes the athlete even more popular among fans and teammates. Joe Kingman admires Elvis Presley (The King) and fills his life with Elvis memorabilia and actions. Little Madison steers her Dad away from his exotic, blonde Russian girlfriend Tatianna toward her awesome balerina teacher, Monique Velasquez. A turn of events ends with a happy ending for both the football and romance sides of this Disney family big budget film.

Well have you decided wich one you prefer to watch. Well I guarantee that the three of them is outstanding performance you should watch. 

Want different movies to watch well I have some good ones such as Atonement, License To Wed, Game Plan and Heartbreak Kid. The last three that I’ve mentioned are comedy while Atonement is about passion of love. But here I want to talk about Atonement first cause the genre is different. The story is about a British romance that spans several decades before. A writer Briony Tallis, as a 13-year-old, irrevocably changes the course of several lives when she accuses her older sister’s lover of a crime he did not commit. 

Academy Award-nominated actress, Keira Knightley and James McAvoy ( Award nominee for "The Last King of Scotland") opposite Ms. Knightley. The two of them played as the main character in the movie. Christopher Hampton (Academy Award winner for "Dangerous Liaisons") has written the screenplay adaptation of Ian McEwan’s best-selling 2002 novel Atonement. Shot on location in the U.K., the film’s story spans several decades. In 1935, 13-year-old fledgling writer Briony Tallis (Saoirse Ronan) and her family live a life of wealth and privilege in their enormous mansion. On the warmest day of the year, the country estate takes on an unsettling hothouse atmosphere, stoking Briony’s vivid imagination. Robbie Turner (Mr. McAvoy), the educated son of the family’s housekeeper, carries a torch for Briony’s headstrong older sister Cecilia (Ms. Knightley). Cecilia and Robbie declare their love for each other, but he is arrested — and with Briony bearing false witness, the course of three lives is changed forever. Briony continues to seek forgiveness for her childhood misdeed. Through a terrible and courageous act of imagination, she finds the path to her uncertain atonement, and to an understanding of the power of enduring love.

The Most Favorite Movie of all time for me is the one and only A Walk To Remember starred by Mandy Moore and Landon Carter. It was made in 2002, the story is about a couple which has lot of differences but finally love conquer them all and they get in love instead. God I love the story, it will change your perspective toward love which is simple but have major influence in our life. For those of you who hasn’t seen the movie, I recommended you to see. It’s really touch and I think very close to our lives. The story is so strong, meaningful and I think there are lot of things we can take from it.

 

 

Yesterday I watched ISAWAK or known as Naughty Kiss final episode, perfect ending of the story. I can’t stop crying because the happiness that finally comes to Xiang Qin (Ariel Lin) female lead character, who had been struggle and fight for her love to Jiang Zhi Shu ( Joe Zheng) male lead character for 5 years since high school. There are so much we can learn from the drama, such as don’t give up and keep your faith, pursue your dreams and don’t be afraid of getting failed cause we are not the one who decide it.

I heard from a friend that there are two must seen movies for us Atonement (Keira Knightley and James Mc Avoy) and August Rush (Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Keri Russell, Freddie Highmore, Terrence Howard and Robin Williams). Atonement is about love story of a couple when the World War II happened, while August Rush leave you feeling the magic of love. Where Rhys Meyers and Russell star as lovers separated after an extraordinary night together. Their encounter, however, produces an infant (Highmore). Orphaned by circumstance, the boy believes he can find his parents through his indescribable musical talent. Unfortunately, these two movies are not yet release in Indonesia but worth to wait. Get ready for romantic, tears and new sensation of loving someone.

This week Will Smith battle Nicholas Cage. I think I can’t make up my mind which one must seen movies. I am a Legend is another Will Smith’s action movie. It’s about a virus called KV virus that wipe out all New York city people in 2009. Robert Neville (Will Smith) as a verologist is the only survivor in the town and probably in the whole world. seorang diri yang selamat di kota tersebut atau mungkin diseluruh dunia. Neville lived for 3 years all by himself try to find another survivor. All this mess was actually his fault, he is the one who spread the virus which fund by the Government. He immuned from the virus, but according to him there should be 2 percent of human race who also has the immunity like he does. But most of them were killed after infected and become a cannibal zombie. Neville was out number and running out of time too. So how it will end, well  I think the pressure is too much for him. Don’t you think?

While National Treasures tells about a treasure hunter Ben Gates (Nicholas Cage) who search a treasure and history too accross the country. It started when he found that there is a missing page on his ancestor’s note book who was accuse as the main person that responsible in Abraham Lincoln’s murder. To prove that his ancestor were not guilty Ben followed international leads that take him to Paris, Britain and ended in America.

The trip was not shocking Ben and his crew but also revealed valuable secret. I wonder what is the big secret?

I think those two movies are worth my intention since the end of the story make me curious. What abou you?
